Practice IT System Changes

From the 20th of April the practice will be undergoing major Scottish Government enforced IT changes which means services will be limited for approximately 2 weeks.

We will not be able to deal with routine problems or medications during this time. We can only deal with medical emergencies only.

During this time if you have a medical emergency please contact the surgery on 0141 889 3144.

Your appointment

All appointments must be done via or Engage Health system and will be triaged by a GP who will then assign an appropriate appointment. This is open from 7.30am.

If you do not have internet access or are unable to use the system then please contact the surgery on 0141 889 3144 at 8am and an Engage request will be created for a GP to appropriately triage.

If you are a friend, relative or carer of someone who does not have internet access or is unable to use the system then you can create a request on their behalf.

Due to high demand for appointments, making request as early as possible is advisable.

Cancelling or changing an appointment

To cancel your appointment:

  • phone us on 0141 889 3144, Monday to Friday from 8am to  6pm
  • reply CANCEL to your appointment reminder text message

If you need help when we are closed

If you need medical help now, use NHS 24 or Call 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

If you need help with your appointment

Please tell us:

  • if there’s a specific doctor, nurse or other health professional you would prefer to respond
  • if you need an interpreter
  • if you have any other access or communication needs

Home visits

If you are housebound and need an appointment, we will do a home visit. We will phone you first to understand what you need.

To request a home visit, it’s helpful if you use engage or phone the practice as early as possible, before 10am.
